Even back in the 1990s having a pre-gen character who only eats minors and likes to have sex with neonate Vamps would have turned off many a interested player. Did the devs think just because it's a new version of Vampire that the could do what the hell they wanted with the material. Anyone bothering to llok or care would have made sure it never went to print. How the hell did some of the material make it to print. I say this because from what I'm hearing of the book and granted it's secondhand information. Part of me wonders if I might be dreaming. The more monstrous restrictions are meant to be there to show you what your Ventrue could be, what sort of horror you could have inflicted on you. You want to play the monster of a Ventrue? Go ahead, be Patrick Bateman. But there's been the idea that that is your choice. And there's always been the chance that you, of your own accord, might make a Ventrue whose feeding restriction is babies, or children, or. I mean, my God, there's a novel that reveals Jan Pieterzoon's feeding restriction, and it is a doozy. I mean, VtM was never coy about the fact that the Ventrue feeding restriction takes on some bizarre and horrible forms.
